With support from the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania through the Ambassador’s Fund for HIV/AIDS Relief (AFHR), a PEPFAR-funded initiative, YOUTH WINGS implemented integrated psychosocial and economic empowerment interventions for youth living with or affected by HIV. The program focused on strengthening mental health and wellbeing through counseling, peer support, and psychosocial services, while also supporting income-generating activities (IGAs) to improve household resilience and economic stability. The intervention promoted social inclusion, treatment adherence, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for vulnerable youth populations.
