Through the WISE Initiative supported by NEPAD, YOUTH WINGS implemented youth-centered civic engagement and governance interventions aimed at strengthening democratic participation among young people in Tanzania. The initiative engaged students, youth groups, and community leaders through awareness sessions, dialogue forums, and leadership development activities focused on accountability, active citizenship, and community participation. The program contributed to empowering young people with the knowledge and confidence to participate meaningfully in governance and local development processes.
